Slither Hole for Android (de.elsiri.slitherhole) · Last updated 28 August 2026

The short version. Everything you do in the game -your progress, your record book, your settings -is written to your own phone and is never uploaded. There is no account, no cloud save and no analytics, and we receive no personal data about you at all.

The app does show optional rewarded ads through Google AdMob. That is the one third party involved, the only reason the app can reach the network, and the subject of the section below.

What the app stores on your device

All of it is kept in the app's own private storage, which no other app can read:

None of it identifies you, none of it leaves the device, and uninstalling the app deletes the lot.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

Slither Hole shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. Every one of them is a rewarded format that you start yourself: a short video you can choose to watch in exchange for coins, and an offer between boards with a decline button the same size as the one that accepts. There are no banners, and no ad ever interrupts a puzzle.

To fill those ad slots, the Google Mobile Ads SDK -running inside the app, but operated by Google rather than by us -collects and transmits data from your device. That includes:

This is why the app declares the INTERNET permission and com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID. Those permissions exist for advertising and for nothing else; no part of your game progress is ever sent anywhere.

We never see any of it. No advertising ID, no IP address and no identifier of any kind reaches us. What we see is the aggregate earnings and impression figures AdMob shows every publisher, which describe no individual.

Google's use of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and by How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

How to limit it. On Android, open Settings → Privacy → Ads (the exact path varies by manufacturer) to reset your advertising ID or delete it entirely. Deleting it stops apps receiving it, which prevents ads being personalised to you. The game itself is completely unaffected -it works the same with the identifier gone, and you can simply decline every ad it offers.

Permissions the app declares

INTERNETFetching ads. Nothing else in the app uses the network.
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATEUsed by the ads SDK to tell whether a request is worth making.
AD_IDAccess to the advertising identifier, required by the ads SDK.
ACCESS_ADSERVICES_*Android Privacy Sandbox interfaces, added by the ads SDK.

There is no permission for location, contacts, storage, camera or microphone, because the game has no use for any of them.

Google Play Games

Achievements and leaderboards are not active in the current version. The app does not sign you in to Google Play Games, does not ask you to, and sends Play Games nothing. If that changes in a future release, this policy will be updated before that release ships.

Google Play (the store)

If you installed the app from Google Play, Google collects the usual install and device data as the distributor. That is between you and Google; we see only the anonymous, aggregated statistics Play Console shows every developer -country, device model, install counts -never anything that identifies an individual.

Children

Slither Hole is not directed at children under 13, and we collect nothing from anyone of any age. Note that the app does display advertising supplied by Google, and that the advertising ID described above is collected by Google's SDK. Parents who would rather no advertising identifier were available to apps can delete it in the Android settings described above.

Legal basis and your rights

We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to show you, correct or delete. To remove everything the app has stored, uninstall it.

For the advertising described above, Google acts as the controller of the data its SDK collects; your rights in respect of it are exercised through Google, using the links in that section and your Android advertising settings.

If you are in the EU, the EEA or the UK, the GDPR rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection apply -write to the address below and we will confirm what we do and do not hold, which in practice is nothing. You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority.

This website

This site is a handful of static files. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from any third party -no web fonts, no tag managers, no embeds. The web server keeps ordinary access logs (IP address, time, page requested) for the operation and security of the server, and they are not used to profile anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it and the new version appears on this page. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes on Google Play.
