What it is
Every snake is asleep in its burrow. Pull it out, one cell at a time, until every row and every column holds exactly the number it asks for.
That is the whole game. No timer you have to beat, no lives to run out of, no move you cannot take back. Just a grid, a handful of snakes, and one answer that always exists -and can always be reasoned out. You never have to guess.
Every level is generated on your own phone and checked to have exactly one solution before you ever see it. Nothing is hand-authored, so nothing runs out.
How to play
- Pull a snake out. Tap an undecided cell and the snake nearest it comes out of its burrow as far as that cell.
- Rule a path out. Tap a cell a snake is on to net it instead -the snake stops short, and the rest of its path is netted behind it.
- Change your mind. Tap a netted cell to clear it back to undecided, or undo as far back as you like.
- Read the clues. Each number is how many cells that row or column holds. It turns green when the line adds up and red when you have overshot.
- Finish. The board is solved when every clue is green -and there was only ever one way to get there.
A look at it
What is in it
- Boards from 4×4 to 30×30One for a bus ride, one for an evening. Curved snakes wind around corners; switch them off and every snake is a straight run. Bigger boards pay more.
- Ten biomesMeadow, Dunes, Tundra, Ice, Night, Ember, Neon, Candy, Abyss and Mono. Every tile is drawn live rather than shipped as an image, so switching biome is instant and the whole game changes with it.
- Coins and a record bookA solved board pays, and pays more when it is bigger, cleaner or quicker. Best times, fewest moves per size, longest clean streak, total time played.
- Undo, redo and bookmarksAs far back as you like, plus three bookmarks a game so you can try a line and come back from it.
- Focus modeThe board and two arrows, nothing else. Pinch to zoom and drag to move on the big grids.
- Five languagesEnglish, Deutsch, Español, Français and العربية - including a full right-to-left layout for Arabic.
Questions
Is it really free?
Yes, and there is nothing to buy -no in-app purchases, no premium tier, no unlocks. There are optional rewarded video ads: a short one you can choose to watch for extra coins, and an offer between boards with a decline button the same size as the one that accepts. No banners, and nothing that interrupts a puzzle.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Every puzzle is generated on your own device rather than downloaded, so the game works in flight mode from the moment it is installed. A connection is only needed if you choose to watch an ad.
Do I ever have to guess?
Never. Each board is verified to have exactly one solution before it reaches you, and that solution is always reachable by reasoning from the clues alone. If you are stuck, there is something left to deduce rather than something to gamble on.
Is there a time limit?
No. The clock runs so you can beat your own best time if you want to, but nothing expires and nothing is lost by taking an hour over a board.
Are there achievements and leaderboards?
Not in the current version. They are built and waiting on the Play Games Services setup, and will arrive in a later update.
What does it need to run?
Android 11 or newer, and under 10 MB of space. There is no account and nothing to sign in to.
Privacy, briefly
Your progress and your record book are written to your own phone and are never uploaded -there is no account and no cloud save. The app shows ads through Google AdMob, which is the one third party involved and the reason the app can reach the network at all. The full policy explains exactly what that means.
